We provide high quality testing and drilling services to clients and projects throughout QLD and NSW.

GSG Laboratories is a 100% Australian owned and operated construction materials, environmental, and agricultural testing and drilling provider with NATA accredited base laboratories throughout regional Queensland and New South Wales. Our goal is to provide high quality testing services to clients and projects throughout Australia.

Together with our strategically located NATA accredited base laboratories our business also has the ability and capacity to provide both branch and annex (onsite) laboratory services to suit client requirements Australia wide. Our regional footprint allows a fast turnaround to mobilise staff and resources to service projects efficiently and reliably. Furthermore, we are fully QBCC licensed (Lic No.15268116) and ASPAC certified.

Our team of technicians, scientists and drillers have decades of in depth knowledge and experience working on small, medium, and large scale projects across all sectors of construction and agriculture throughout Australia including:

Residential, industrial, and commercial sub-divisions, developments and high rises;
Public utility and transport infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, tunnels, rail, ports and airports;

The GSG Laboratories Story

In July 2021, Geo Technical Management Group Pty Ltd (a wholly Queensland owned and operated entity) acquired Wide Bay Geotechnical Services Pty Ltd, a long-standing company that was established in 1986. This longevity and expertise have given Geo Technical Management Group Pty Ltd a competent sounding board to grow our base operations throughout regional Queensland.

On taking over the Wide Bay business, the name changed to Geotechnical Services. Geo Technical Management Group have focused on improvements in client service through an expansive campaign in updating equipment and software technology along with introducing training and continuous improvement programs for all employees. Our Managers and Technicians are supported by an efficient administration group, which ensures timely and accurate production of test results.

In July 2023, Geo Technical Management Group acquired East West Enviroag, a highly regarded geotechnical, environmental, and agricultural testing business; this acquisition expanded our scope and services into north western NSW and beyond.

On 1st October 2024, Geotechnical Services and East West Enviroag unified to operate under the one banner, now known as GSG Laboratories.

Geo Technical Management Group’s management team has come together from many business backgrounds giving us the ability to provide a unique service. We solve problems and produce a positive experience for our clients through broad exposure to projects with Tier 1 Companies and multi-nationals alike. We thrive on difficult projects and take a collaborative approach in finding positive solutions for our clients and customers.

We provide regional and remote testing solutions; our local teams possess unparalleled knowledge of their respective geographical areas. We have the capability and capacity to establish remote annex laboratories nationwide.
