As the Work Health and Safety, Radiation Officer for Geotechnical Services, Nathan is responsible for the day-to-day management of the administrative and operational safety and radiation requirements. His proficiency extends beyond routine compliance, delving into the creation of a safety culture that permeates every facet of our operations. By seamlessly integrating practical safety considerations into the daily workflow, Nathan not only upholds regulatory requirements but also fosters an environment where employee, client, and public well-being takes precedence. With over 12 years’ experience in the geotechnical testing industry, Nathan also possesses extensive expertise in testing and sampling, giving him a deep understanding of the inherent hazards and risks associated with the industry, both in the laboratory and the field.

Nathan initiated his career on the Curtis Island APLNG project, one of the largest construction ventures in Queensland at the time and has since contributed his knowledge and proficiency to numerous project and base laboratories across Queensland and the Northern Territory. This has enabled him to acquire a thorough understanding of field and laboratory testing of aggregate, concrete, and soils in accordance with AS and Q. testing methods. His experience includes a diverse range of projects spanning various sectors, including mining, oil and gas, transport infrastructure, public utilities, and residential construction. He is an Approved Signatory, holds a Nuclear Density Licence, and is a QLD Nuclear Density Licence Assessor

By integrating his profound safety and radiation acumen with his hands-on experience in geotechnical testing, Nathan demonstrates a remarkable ability to formulate comprehensive work health and safety strategies and implement practical solutions.
